Our Story
Built Around a Simple Idea
That understanding your pension should not require a law degree — or a sales pitch.
Back to HomeWho We Are
The Goldyear Story
Goldyear began in Phuket after a series of conversations that kept going the same way. People — employees, retirees, adult children of ageing parents — would sit down and say they did not really know what retirement benefits they had, or what their family should know, or what questions to even ask.
The information was out there, but it was buried in documents written for regulators, not people. The gap between what existed and what was understandable was wide. That gap felt worth closing.
We started in 2019 with a single session format, helping one person at a time build a clear picture of their pension documents and records. Over time, requests came in from families wanting to have a conversation about the future together, and from employers who wanted to offer their staff something more than a booklet in a drawer.
Today, Goldyear offers three distinct formats — each built around the same principle: give people good information, present it plainly, and leave all decisions where they belong — with the person in front of us.
Our Mission
To make pension information accessible, understandable, and useful — for every person, regardless of their background or level of familiarity with financial systems.
Our Vision
A Thailand where no one reaches retirement age feeling uncertain about what they have, what their family knows, or what to do next. That clarity should belong to everyone.
Our Values
Respect, patience, and plain language. We never rush, never push, and never talk over the person we are working with.
The People
Who You'll Meet
A small, experienced team with backgrounds in workplace welfare, adult education, and plain-language communication.
Siriwan Arthit
Founder & Lead Facilitator
Siriwan spent twelve years in HR consulting before founding Goldyear. She developed the session structure and oversees all content to ensure it stays accurate, plain, and pressure-free.
Pracha Teerawong
Workplace Programme Coordinator
Pracha manages the Workplace Information Programme and works directly with employers to adapt the session format to different company structures and staff audiences.
Nattaya Lertpanich
Content & Materials Writer
Nattaya writes and reviews all printed materials, templates, and guides. Her background in adult literacy means every sentence is tested for clarity before it reaches a participant.
How We Work
Our Standards
We hold ourselves to a clear set of operating principles — not because we have to, but because they reflect how we believe this kind of work should be done.
No Advice, No Products
We do not sell financial products, take referral fees, or recommend any action. We share information. That boundary is non-negotiable.
Data Privacy
Personal details shared during sessions are used only to deliver the service. We do not share, sell, or retain information beyond what is needed.
Plain-Language Review
All materials and session outlines are reviewed for readability before use. If something cannot be explained simply, we reconsider whether it belongs at all.
Regular Content Updates
Pension rules and workplace benefit structures change. We review and update our materials at least twice yearly to ensure what we share reflects current conditions.
Participant Feedback
After every session, participants are invited to share what was useful and what was not. That feedback shapes future sessions directly.
Ethical Conduct
We operate transparently. Pricing is displayed upfront, there are no hidden extras, and participants are always free to stop or pause without penalty.
Pension Information in Thailand — Why It Matters Now
Thailand's working population faces a period of significant change in how retirement income is structured. Workplace provident funds, social security contributions, and government pension schemes each operate differently, and the overlap between them is often poorly understood — even by those who have contributed for many years.
Goldyear exists to address that gap. We are not a substitute for a financial planner or a legal adviser. We are a starting point — a place where people can learn what questions to ask, what documents to locate, and how to have productive conversations with the professionals they may eventually need to consult.
Based in Phuket, we work with residents of all backgrounds: Thai nationals, long-term expatriate workers, and international businesses with Thai staff. The common thread is a desire for clarity. Our sessions and materials are designed to meet people at whatever level of familiarity they already have, and build from there.
Our approach draws on principles from adult education and workplace communication. Sessions are structured to allow for questions at every point. Materials are designed to be revisited — not discarded after a single reading. And our facilitated programmes for employers are built around the reality that staff absorb information better when it is presented by someone who speaks their language, not in the language of financial regulation.
